Education
Dr Matthew Donaldson completed his medical training at The University of Sydney before undertaking orthopaedic specialist training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
His experience includes advanced surgical training in Australia, with further international fellowships in Lyon (France) and Cambridge (UK), focused on shoulder and elbow surgery.

Dr Donaldson currently holds the role of Visiting Medical Officer (Specialist) Locum at Liverpool, Fairfield and Bowral & District Hospitals.
Prior to this, Matthew completed International Fellowships in Lyon and Cambridge and undertook Specialist appointments at St George Hospital, Sutherland Hospital and Bowral & District Hospital.
During his Orthopaedic Training, Matthew gained extensive regional and metropolitan experience—practising in Dubbo, Orange, and Canberra, as well as in Sydney at Westmead Children’s Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
